When life hurts: discipline vs. pruning part 2

If your current circumstances feel indicative of discipline but you can't figure out what you did wrong, you might be experiencing the pruning shears of God. Anytime the Lord sees that we are good for producing fruit, He will tend to us in a way that will ultimately help us to bear even more fruit in time.
Once you understand what pruning is and what it's for, you can be encouraged to handle your everyday struggles with renewed confidence and energy. I hope this episode helps you to do just that. :)

Times of hardship are inevitable in the life of a believer, but what exactly is the cause of that hardship? Not understanding the difference between God's hand of discipline and God's hand of pruning can lend to a lot of confusion and pain.
In this episode, we're going to be talking about the three levels of discipline, and the lengths God will go through to bring us back to Him. Though it can be scary to turn from what we thought was good for us, we know nothing is wasted with God, so we can trust that even the time we spend running from Him can be turned for good.
